Training Delivery Specialist


Overview

Job Description:

CDM is a large, medium complexity effort requiring solid process management and training delivery and execution. The associate currently fulfilling this requirement announced their resignation from CoBank, effective November 1, 2019. A back-fill replacement has been requested and is in work. This request addresses the support required to cover the work effort prior to completion of the full-time hire recruiting process.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Engage with the CDM project team on training related topics and requirements.

-Develop materials required to complete in-work computer-based training (CBT) courses for the CDM project.

-Develop training approach and related materials to support planned CDM live-training.

-Logistical support to schedule, announce, enable and facilitate CBT and live-training sessions.

-Coordinate with and support CoBank CDM:

---Project business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) for training content

---“Super user” groups to supplement training content

---Project management (EPMO) for training development and delivery schedules

---Change Management and Process Management functions for alignment with overall change approach

-Coordinate with CoBank Learning and Development function to ensure consistency with and use of established training approaches, systems, templates and tools.

-Report project progress and status on CDM training development, schedules and delivery activities.

-Transition planning to full-time Training Specialist.

 

Requirements:

-5+ years’ experience with adult learning, training approach development, training material development, and training delivery, preferably in corporate environments

-Mid-to senior-level instructional development experience and skill.

-Experience in CBT and live training development and delivery.

-Awareness of / experience with change management and process management desired

-Training experience encompassing:

---Design, development and delivery of approaches supporting technology-based training

---Computer-based training (CBT) design and development

---Coordination with project teams and subject matter experts

---Logistics and scheduling of training courses and programs

---Development of training evaluations and training metrics

---Live-session training delivery

-Awareness of change management concepts and methodology

-Ability to interpret business process documentation and incorporate that material into training content
