Purpose

Overview Prodigy is seeking an entry level Lab test Engineer 6-12 month, full time contract position. Our client is a a Cable Technologies company located in the Denver Metro Area. This role will entail working in a professional lab and office environment while applying basic technical knowledge to straightforward, well-defined or recurring tasks and projects. Some selling points are: It is an individual contributor role that will serve as the foundation to develop a solid engineering career. Skills: – Possess basic technical skills l (i.e., electronics, programing, radio, cable technologies, Wi-Fi technologies) education and limited practical application. – Ability to support the team by applying new approaches and building on the ideas of others – Critical thinking and standard problem-solving techniques to analyze problems – Ability to collaborate with team members to learn skills, becomes progressively more autonomous, and develop troubleshooting ability to conduct root cause analysis. – Exhibit advanced organizational, communication and interpersonal relations skills – Exercise initiative in areas of responsibility – Maintain, update, and improve job knowledge Minimum Requirements – Recent graduate from an associate degree or equivalent with 0-3 years of experience – Student or recent graduate from engineer degree – Can explain the basics of the technology claimed as main core of knowledge Employment Arrangement: Full time on site. Must be able to work nights and weekends on occasion.
